Christoph Zimmerli studied computer science at ETH Zürich from 2002 until 2009. In May 2009 he got his MSc degree with a major in information systems. He wrote his master thesis on the topic of Performance Optimisation in an Object-Oriented Database Management System within the GlobIS group.
Having completed his master studies, Christoph joined the GlobIS group as a research assistant continuing his work on OMS Avon. In the fall of 2009 he started his doctoral studies. His research interests are mainly centered around object databases and database technology in general.
