Dr. Adriana Ispas

Adriana's research focuses on interactive paper. In particular, she is interested in how this technology might be used to support traditional workflows of information workers.

General research interests: Interactive Paper, Computer Supported Collaborative Work, Human Computer Interaction, Personal Information Management, Ubiquitous and Tangible Computing, Multimodal Interaction.

Background

Adriana is originally from Cluj-Napoca, a town in the heart of Transilvania, Romania. She received the degree of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca and the degree of Master of Science in Computer Science from the Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca.
Adriana developed her diploma thesis “Consistency Maintenance over XML Documents in Asynchronous Collaborative Editing” within the Global Information Systems Group, ETH Zurich, as a visiting student. She joined the Global Information Systems Group in October 2006.
